Learning Theories 1. Learning experience The learning experience in question is focused on the time a new smartphone was acquired to replace a simple cellphone. The new phone was touch screen type, with Wi-Fi and improved connectivity. In addition, it had Bluetooth capability as well as microUSB capability as opposite to the older phone. The social media and communication applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype, emailing capabilities, and twitter were also part of the new phone. The learning objectives and goals involved learning how to use the touch screen features as opposed to using keypad in the previous phone. In addition, the key was of QWERTY type which was new. Switching between the upper case and low case, special characters, etc. was another objective to be met as well as other keypad settings for maximum and effective use. All the applications required either linkages to personal accounts, such email addresses and Twitter, or creation of new accounts such as WhatsApp accounts which did not exist before. This required learning in order to accomplish successfully. This being a touch screen phone, several of previous habits had to change. Such included how to handle it to avoid scratches which can affect how it performs, and locking the screen after use among others. The applications for the smartphone are updated from time for maximum performance and thus this had to be taken care of in terms of changed behaviors.
